New M40 Junction
Slightly misleading article in the Ambrosden section of Parish News; Merton Parish Council have been following this up. OCC are consulting on whether to have a new junction for M40 or not and reviewing the viability of different options. If the consultation supports an extra M40 Junction then there are 3 options being taken forward, one of which could mean a road close to Merton. At this stage the first review as to whether a new junction is required is not yet complete. We have invited Councillor Tim Hallchurch to the November meeting to update the Parish Council – we shall then update the village.
